Proposed Itinerary

Day 1: Barcelona - Arrival

Upon arrival in Barcelona, meet your driver and transfer to your Hotel. Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its art and architecture. The fantastical Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí dot the city. Museu Picasso and Fundació Joan Miró feature modern art by their namesakes. City history museum MUHBA, includes several Roman archaeological sites Rest of the day is free at leisure to visit La Ramblas – the most happening street in the city Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Barcelona - Guided City Tour

Breakfast. Proceed to In Barcelona, history and traditions go hand in hand with emerging fashion and new trends in cuisine, culture and art. Barcelona offers the possibility to enjoy the sea as well as the mountains. Julia Travel proposes an itinerary that will allow you to enjoy the most emblematic sights the city has to offer. We will start with a sightseeing tour by bus that will take you up the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, where you will see the most famous Gaudi houses, casa Batlló and La casa Milà (La Pedrera) as well as other majestic buildings of the Modernism era. We will take you to the sea where you will be able to admire the intense changes the city underwent with the organization of the Olympic Games in 1992. You will drive by the Arc of the Triomf, Ciutadela Park, the Olympic Village, the Olympic Port, the beach and the fisherman’s quarter, called Barceloneta, the Port Vell, Plaza (square) de Colon with its famous Columbus monument, indicating which way he sailed to discover the Americas. This point is also the beginning of the famous Ramblas of Barcelona. We will continue the visit driving up Montjuïc where we will make a short stop in the Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys. We will continue driving uphill towards Montjuïc Castle where you will enjoy a cable car ride with precious views of the city. The bus will pick you up at the last station and we will continue our Montjuïc visit passing by the sports facilities built for the 1992 Olympic Games: the Lluís Companys stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi, the Olympic swimming pool Picornell until we get to the Spanish Village. At 3 PM - OPTIONAL TOUR for FAST TRACK” GUIDED TOUR SAGRADA FAMILIA (Price Not Included) Barcelona is known as the capital of Modernism and the place where the famous architect Antoni Gaudí worked and lived. Gaudi, one of the greatest innovators of his time, left behind numerous treasures in Barcelona for the discerning tourist to discover. The Sagrada Familia is one of the most visited buildings in the world. We will visit the astonishing interior of this Basilica, where vaults reach seventy meters. Antoni Gaudí designed a Latin cross plan with five aisles, extremely rich in ornamentation and symbolism. We will also visit the Sagrada Familia museum, where you will see an exhibition of drawings, plaster models and pictures about the history and development of this basilica from its early beginnings to the present day. Day 3: OPTIONAL TOUR MONTSERRAT TOUR WITH COG-WHEEL TRAIN (Price Not Included)

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to join the tour - Start your half day trip from Barcelona in a comfortable bus towards the mountain of Montserrat which rises majestically up to 4,051 feet (1,236 meter). Montserrat is a multi-peaked rocky range formed of sedimentary rocks shaped by the wind and rain. The popular imagination has seen human and animal shapes in some of these peaks, giving them names and inventing legends to explain their fantastic origins. This trip to Montserrat will give you the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful and breathe taking views of the Montserrat Mountain, one of nature’s special creations. You will go up to Montserrat with the Cog – Wheel Train, which leaves you in the middle of the Monastery. It is a 15-minute trip with a privileged and spectacular view of the mountain. The train has panoramic windows which make the actual journey an interesting attraction. The train is air-conditioned and they are completely wheelchair-friendly. You will visit the Royal Basilica of Montserrat, which holds the famous 12th century Romanesque carving of Verge Moreneta (the Black Madonna). You will be given some free time to visit the audio visual exhibition about the history and creation of Montserrat. And taste typical liquors of Montserrat.

Day 4: Barcelona - Seville- Guided City Tour + Flamenco Night

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to station to take a train to Seville. Arrive Seville – Check in. Seville is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region. It's famous for flamenco dancing, particularly in its Triana neighborhood. Major landmarks include the ornate Alcázar castle complex, built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty, and the 18th-century Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza bullring. The Gothic Seville Cathedral is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb and a minaret turned bell tower, the Giralda. Evening Proceed for and interesting Tour - FLAMENCO NIGHT IN SEVILLE - A visit to Seville would not be complete without knowing the art of the Andalusian capital, and Andalusia is world famous for its passion for flamenco dancing. That’s why we offer an unforgettable evening where you can enjoy a real spectacle at a flamenco show while enjoying a delicious tapas dinner. This well-organized tour, offers you a spectacular panoramic bus ride to the main monuments of the city center, bathed in the twilight to prepare your senses for a magical evening. On this scenic drive you will pass by famous landmarks such as the spectacular Plaza of Spain and America Square, which we will visit by walking and also the flags of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929, the Casino of the Exhibition or the Parque Maria Luisa to head to the river bank and revel in the night lighting of the imposing Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza, the Torre del Oro and the Palace of San Telmo, Seville baroque exemplary work. After this beautiful walk in Sevilla, we will go by bus to the flamenco show, where you will take a seat next to the stage to enjoy and truly admire the art of dance, which was originated more than three centuries ago. Enjoy this magnificent spectacle while you have some tapas, always with quality products and a cuisine based on the Andalusian tradition. Our tour ends at the end of the show, a perfect time of the evening to go for a peaceful walk through the beautiful Sevilla streets in the magical ambiance of the night.

Day 5: Seville- Day Trip to Cordoba with Pick-up and Drop-off from your hotel

After breakfast proceed to join the Day Tour to Cordoba - The tour begins with a scenic one hour bus journey to Cordoba passing many beautiful cities such as Carmona, La Luisiana and La Carlota. We will then arrive to the city which once was the light of the world when it enjoyed the position of being a caliphate city. Cordoba offers and enormous cultural and historic legacy. We will visit the gorgeous Mosque-Cathedral declared World Heritage Site, which is considered the most important monument around the Islamic western. Its shimmering golden mosaics and an endless row of red and white striped arches make it a visual delight. We won´t miss The Christian Kings Alcazar, The Jewish Quarter with its narrow streets and white- washed houses full of flowers and the only Synagogue in Andalusia. We will also walk along the lovely Calle de las Flores one of the most traditional places of Cordoba. Once we´ve explored all the Jewish Quarter secrets, you will have some free time to walk around by yourself, have a traditional lunch or do some shopping Include - • Entrance fees to the Mosque, Synagogue and Christian Kings Alcazar.

Day 6: Seville - Day Free for Optional Tour OR Day trip to Gibraltar

Day 7: Seville - Malaga

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon check out and take a train to Malaga Arrivel Malaga - Private car transfer to Hotel. Málaga is a port city on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol, known for its high-rise hotels and resorts jutting up from yellow-sand beaches. Looming over that modern skyline are the city’s 2 massive hilltop citadels, the Alcazaba and ruined Gibralfaro, remnants of Moorish rule. The city's soaring Renaissance cathedral is nicknamed La Manquita ("one-armed lady") because one of its towers was curiously left unbuilt. Enjoy for day in your Resort

Buffet breakfast & Dinner Included Optional Tour - Ronda Full Day Tour- the fascinating city of Ronda, one of the most historic locations in southern Andalusia. Admire the beauty of its rugged landscapes and breathtaking views, and feel the relaxing atmosphere of its streets. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a sightseeing guided tour of its main attractions including Puerta de Almocabar (Almocabar Gate), Iglesia del Espiritu Santo (Church of the Holy Spirit), Town Hall Square, and Iglesia de Santa Maria la Mayor (Church of Santa Maria la Mayor). We will continue with a full visit of the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza, one of the oldest bullrings in Spain and also the site of some of the most important events in bullfighting history. It is considered the birthplace of traditional bullfighting and also home of the world known Goyesca bullfight, where the decoration and the clothing of bullfighters and spectators brings us to the age of the famous painter Goya. You will also enjoy the visit of the bullfighting museum inside. Later on, we will go to a local winery called Bodegas La Sangre de Ronda. This is a wine museum that explores the historical and cultural impact that wine has had on this region. You will have the opportunity to taste some local wines. Free time for lunch and to discover the city at leisure before we drive you back to your pick up point in the Costa del Sol. On our way back, we will make a short stop of about 45 minutes at Marbella's city center for you to go for a walk and take some pictures.
