Proposed Itinerary

Day 1: Madrid- Arrival

Upon arrival in Madrid , private car transfer to your Hotel. Welcome to the Capital of Spain, At Arrival transfer,with English speaking driver. Evening free to spend time at the Gran Via. Madrid, Spain's central capital, is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, displaying historic weaponry. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Madrid- City Tour with Royal Palace.

Today enjoy City tour of Madrid with Royal Palace As the capital of Spain, Madrid is a city of great cultural and political importance.A complete vision of Madrid will be reached at the end of this tour. Having a panoramic sightseeing of the old part of the city. So we will also approach the façade of the Royal Palace, the 18th century left its neoclassical mark on the splendid Royal Palace complex, the Sabatini Gardens and Campo del Moro, located in the city centre. Day 3: Madrid- Seville-Guadalquivir Cruise

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to railway station to pick up the high speed train to Seville. Transfer on your own on arrival to your hotel. Evening enjoy - GUADALQUIVIR CRUISE-Visit Seville from a unique position and enjoy privileged views: those that can be seen from the Guadalquivir River, large ancient river that go through Andalusia with over 700 km of length and connects the capital, Seville, with the Atlantic Ocean. In fact its current name come from the Arabic “al-Wadi al-Kibir”, translated into our language as “big river”. From the deck of one of our modern, spacious and safe boats you can take a breath while you see the Guadalquivir banks, where great works are built, such as the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza, the old bridges, the mythical Barrio de Triana, the pavilions of international exhibitions celebrated in Seville the towers of the Plaza de España and numerous buildings that, in the past, chose to settle on the banks of the big river, which became to Sevilla in a strategic point of vital importance to the New World. Day 4: Seville- Guided Walking City Tour

Day 5: Seville- Barcelona Flamenco Show

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon check out and proceed to train station for train to Barcelona . Upon arrival in Barcelona, meet your driver and transfer to your Hotel.Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region,is known for its art and architecture. The fantastical Sagrada Família churchand other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí dot the city. MuseuPicasso and Fundació Joan Miró feature modern art by their namesakes. Cityhistory museum MUHBA, includes several Roman archaeological sites Rest of the day is free at leisure to visit La Ramblas – the most happening street in the city. Day 6: Barcelona- Barcelona Highlights

Buffet breakfast and, in the morning, proceed for Barcelona Highlights- In Barcelona, history and traditions go hand in hand with emerging fashion and new trends in cuisine, culture and art. Barcelona offers the possibility to enjoy the sea as well as the mountains. Julia Travel proposes an itinerary that will allow you to enjoy the most emblematic sights the city has to offer. We will start with a sightseeing tour by bus that will take you up the elegant Passeig de Gràcia, where you will see the most famous Gaudi houses, casa Batlló and La casa Milà (La Pedrera) as well as othermajestic buildings of the Modernism era.

We will take you to the sea where you will be able to admire the intense changes the city underwent with the organization of the Olympic Games in 1992. You will drive by the Arc of the Triomf, Ciutadela Park,the Olympic Village, the Olympic Port, the beach and the fisherman’s quarter,called Barceloneta, the Port Vell, Plaza (square) de Colon with its famous Columbus monument, indicating which way he sailed to discover the Americas.This point is also the beginning of the famous Ramblas of Barcelona. We will continue the visit driving up Montjuïc where we will make a short stop in the Olympic Stadium Lluís Company's. We will continue driving uphill towardsMontjuïc Castle where you will enjoy a cable car ride with precious views ofthe city. The bus will pick you up at the last station and we will continue ourMontjuïc visit passing by the sports facilities built for the 1992 OlympicGames: the Lluís Companys stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi, the Olympic swimming pool Picornell until we get to the Spanish Village. We will visit this charmingplace where you will admire a collection of traditional buildings from all over Spain, and a demonstration of a selection of the handcrafts made in thiscountry. After the visit of the Spanish village, we will leave the Montjuïcbehind and go back into the city center. During the drive back to the city center you will be able to admire the Venetian Towers, the Montjuïc fountains,the MNAC and Las Arenas Shopping Mall rebuilt over the ancient bull ring. Wewill arrive at the Plaza de Catalunya, the starting point of the guided walking tour of the old city center. Our guide will take you to the Ramblas, Cathedral Square, through the narrow streets of the Gothic quarter and Sant Jaume squarewhere the City hall and the headquarters of the Catalonian government are located.

Barcelona is known as the capital of Modernism and the place where the famous architect Antoni Gaudí worked and lived. Gaudi, one ofthe greatest innovators of his time, left behind numerous treasures in Barcelona for the discerning tourist to discover. The Sagrada Familia is one ofthe most visited buildings in the world. We will visit the astonishing interior of this Basilica, where vaults reach seventy meters. Antoni Gaudí designed a Latin cross plan with five aisles, extremely rich in ornamentation and symbolism. We will also visit the Sagrada Familia museum, where you will see an exhibition of drawings, plaster models and pictures about the history and development of this basilica from its early beginnings to the present day.
